Employee Ownership Becomes a Reality
September 14th, 2007 was a historic day for our company. On that day, the papers were signed finalizing our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”) and giving us the chance to be Employee-Owners. This is a fantastic opportunity for our employees, and it marks the beginning of a new phase in our company’s history. No matter if an employee has been a part of this company for one year or 30, each one has the opportunity to make an impact on those we care for and work with. It will take teamwork and excellent stewardship to take our company to the next level, but I am confident that we’re well on our way!
We are now beginning the education process, not just teaching employees about the details of the ESOP, but also more about our business. We want to make sure the heart of what we do is always based on our Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Growth, Stewardship and the ability to Adapt. If we keep these principles foremost, we will be a very blessed company. We will continue to look for ways to manage what we have carefully, to be efficient, and work to deliver an excellent product. We will be driven to expand our services to other providers throughout the Midwest so that we can fulfill our goal of growth.
