Your RIGHT to Vote!
The months leading up to this year’s Presidential election have been anything but boring. For the first time in history, regardless of which party is elected, history will be made. I want to remind you that the deadline to register to vote in this important election is quickly approaching. You must be registered by Monday, October 6th to vote on November 4th.
To register to vote, simply fill out a Voter Registration Form. You can locate the form online at http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/pdfs/50504.pdf, or at the voter registration or county clerk’s office, any BMV license branch or public assistance office. You will need to submit identification with your application. This can be a photo I.D., current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, etc. Send a copy with your application. Sign your application and either mail the form to your local Voter Registration Office, or deliver it in person. Your voter registration card will be mailed to you once your eligibility is determined. Take it and identification with you when you go to vote.
