Company History
In 1964, Wallace and Connie Miller’s vision to provide long-term healthcare for the aging became a reality when, after mortgaging everything they had, they opened Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw.
Today the Miller family celebrates a dedication to improving the quality of life that has been responsible for evolving into a corporation that now operates 31 rehabilitation healthcare centers & 11 assisted living communities.
It began with the purchase of the former Kosciusko County Home and its 157-plus acres just outside Warsaw’s city limits. Mrs. Miller, a registered nurse, enjoyed working with the elderly and realized a need for a healthcare center in Warsaw. Her husband was a confident businessman, but neither expected their venture to evolve to the magnitude that it is today, and neither could have possibly imagined what their facilities would mean to so many people.
Presently, Miller’s Merry Manor is managed by a group of long-term senior employees, Patrick Boyle, CEO, Lori Haug, CFO, and Gregory Spaulding as COO. The board of directors of Miller’s Merry Manor includes the Miller’s two sons, V. Richard and James Miller, and daughters Beverly and Barbara. A third son, Wally Jr. died in July 1998. Prior to his death, Wally Jr. served 20 years as the CEO-COO for his family’s health care business.
