To celebrate the end of an extensive construction and remodeling project, the employees and residents of Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw are hosting an Open House for the community on June 10th, 2015 from 1:00–3:00 pm to showcase the new Rehabilitation Center at Miller’s and the Living Well Fitness Center. With easy access through the new facility entrance and reception area, the 7700 square foot addition will provide present and future patients with use of state-of-the-art therapy equipment and a new therapeutic pool as a part of their recuperation following surgery or illness. The Living Well Fitness Center, will be open to the public for ages 50 and over, and features a full range of exercise equipment, along with use of the Therapeutic pool, and shower rooms. In addition, Miller’s has partnered with the YMCA to host Silver Sneakers classes in the new Fitness Center which will include yoga and water aerobics. The welcoming surroundings also feature a large Community Room complete with audio visual set-up, a kitchenette with seating for up to 50 people and will be available to be reserved by members of the Warsaw community for public gatherings of civic, cultural, education or celebratory nature. Plans are also underway to utilize the area for regular educational presentations hosted by the facility and other community agencies.
